We are pleased to announce The School of the Wisdom will come to Naarden as of this year. For many, the School of the Wisdom at Adyar, is a well-known feature, with Erica Georgiades as its dedicated director. The travel to India and stay at Adyar, often for a few weeks, has its clear advantages, benefiting from its very special atmosphere. However, for many of us, this also has its challenges, time and cost-wise. It has therefore been the clear wish of Tim Boyd, International President of the TS, to start a similar School at the ITC. The School of the Wisdom Naarden (SWN), also under the directorship of Erica, offers more condensed programmes, each lasting a few days. This will involve less travel time and lower cost for Europeans.
The first programme of the SWN will be on the Yoga Sutras of Patañjali with Ricardo Lindemann, from 17 to 21 August 2026. Later in the year, from 28 October to 4 November, a Silent Retreat with Tran-Thi-Kim-Diêu will be organised.
