SUMMARY:Bharatanatyam Dance Performance in Celebration of 100 Years ITC
DESCRIPTION:Special programme to celebrate 100 years International Theosophical Centre (ITC) Naarden \nYou are invited to a special evening programme celebrating 100 years of ITC Naarden\, a unique spiritual Centre in the Netherlands. Mr. Bhavajan Kumar will perform Bharatanatyam\, the South Indian dance form established as an art by Mrs. Rukmini Devi Arundale\, founder of the Kalakshetra dance institute (www.kalakshetra.in). Rukmini was head of ITC Naarden for 50 years\, playing an important role since its foundation. \nThis is a unique opportunity to see the original Bharatanatyam from Kalakshetra performed in the Netherlands. We think that this is of interest to dance schools and their students in the Netherlands who focus on traditional Indian dances.
