SUMMARY:Retreat: The Art of Self-Inquiry
DESCRIPTION:In the spirit of J. Krishnamurti’s profound teachings on self-knowledge and inner transformation\, the Vereniging Leerproject (Learning project Association) & School For Self Inquiry invite you to a sanctuary of gentle exploration and compassionate learning in Netherlands. It is important to understand that a retreat of this kind is a sacred space not intended for debates\, arguments or asserting any particular ideology\, strong opinions or ideals. The intention is not to further fill our minds with the knowledge of the teachings but gently\, slowly\, and affectionately explore the questions arising from the depths of our being. \nThe retreat will explore the art of self-inquiry and its role in living a more harmonious\, peaceful and compassionate life. The daily program will consist of Meditative & Transformative Self-inquiry\, insightful dialogues\, silent contemplation\, meditative walks in nature and two inspiring video talks of J. Krishnamurti. \nThe retreat will begin on Friday 12 April at 10 am and finish on 14 April with lunch. Participants will stay in Crystal House (single and some double rooms)\, or in one of the three cabins on the ITC grounds near the Meditation Garden. The group meetings take place in Crystal Hall. Breakfast\, lunch and dinner will take place in the Lotus living room.
