Last time\, we explored the theme “The Flame of Theosophy – Revisiting the Fundamentals.” \nWhat’s Up \nNo doubt\, many of us seek to rise above the repetitive challenges of life—those difficult and often painful experiences—in order to discover our true purpose… or rather\, the True Purpose of the One Life. \nSo that we may finally find happiness. \nWhether by choice or circumstance\, this path of Seeking often leads us to deep introspection and significant changes in our lifestyle\, habits\, and even social circles. \nAlong the way\, we may realize that the happiness we once chased is not what we imagined. DESCRIPTION:Tijdens deze lezing zullen we ons verdiepen in het werk van de Armeense filosoof Gurdjieff en zijn visie op het ‘werk’ dat de mens moet doen om te komen tot innerlijke ontwikkeling en Zelfbewustzijn. Hij noemde deze methode de ‘Vierde Weg’. In ons dagelijks leven worden we vaak geleefd door verschillende ‘ikken’ waarmee we ons identificeren en die ons vertellen hoe we moeten handelen. We leven vaak niet bewust\, maar handelen op de automatische piloot. Hoe kunnen we hier los van komen en meer gaan leven vanuit onze essentie\, ons ware Ik? Hoe kunnen we leren vastgeroeste patronen in onszelf te veranderen\, zodat er meer ruimte ontstaat voor onze ziel? \nOver de spreker:\nKees Voorhoeve heeft studies gevolgd over westerse mystiek\, kabbalah en boeddhisme\, en hij heeft jaren les gehad van de godsdienstfilosoof Daniël van Egmond over theosofie.
